Innovation, Development and Adaptation of Sustainable Technologies
The Innovation, Development and Adaptation of Sustainable Technologies Research Group seeks to contribute to regional sustainable development and the improvement of the quality of life for local riverine peoples. Research specifically addresses the development of sustainable technologies for the conservation of natural resources and provides support for the implementation of public policies related to social development. GPIDATS is interdisciplinary and was created in 2011 to bring together research on sustainable technologies for local communities and on the natural physical Amazonian environment. Among the research conducted by the group are studies on sustainable social technologies that can be replicated outside the study site.
